Always match the physical bulb base and shape to your fixture, follow the fixture’s maximum-wattage and compatibility labels, use damp- or wet-rated products where required, and confirm dimmer compatibility. For wiring, new fixtures, or any uncertain installation, consult a qualified electrician.
